Growing up, I was very active and played sports of all kinds. For as long as I could remember, there was never a time where I wasn’t outside running around. That being said, my diet consisted of mainly junk food (and I mean loads of cookies, candy, chips, etc).
Once I graduated high school I had become incredibly sedentary and continued my terrible eating habits. I had quickly put on weight, lost muscle mass, and become incredibly unhappy with myself.
Going from being so active to a couch potato, I sat back watching my motivation plummet... I was lost. I didn't like what I saw in the mirror and I had no idea where to start. In 2016, I began what I’d like to call my “fitness journey”. I spent my first 6 months in a recreational gym essentially copying workouts that I’d see people do both in the gym and online.
Fast forward to today. After extensive research/trial and error, I've finally found my happy place. I’ve consistently trained and watched my nutrition ever since. I have gained 30 pounds of mostly lean muscle and a healthy amount of body fat. I no longer punish myself for eating the foods that make my soul happy or restrict social outings in fear of being alienated and ridiculed for not joining in on the good foods/drinks. I know how to incorporate fun foods with healthy foods and can guide you on how to do the same whether it’s at home or at a social event.
The cool thing about living a healthy lifestyle is not only do you feel amazing, but it opens a whole new world of possibilities.
My goal here is to help you grow as an individual. I want to watch you succeed and, eventually with the knowledge you have learned, live this newly attained lifestyle without my guidance.
I want to be the accountability partner you didn’t know you needed. I want to be that extra push to remind you why you started. I want you to wake up each morning with excitement to conquer the day.
